Seems like it was going to be, but they seem to have backed off of that. I'm looking forward to getting away from it after reading more about the HMC. I'm just trying to justify an HMC rather than Ops Console setup. In order to resolve an issue on my development lpar I had to run - a RCLSTG with some traces turned on. - RTVDSKINF - another RCLSTG with other traces turned on. - IPL Using an HMC and a "shared" session, I ran this all from the comfort of my living room. The ability to perform a dedicated console function from the outside would be rarely used, but would be nice in a pinch. pnelson@xxxxxxxxx m Sent by: To midrange-l-bounce Midrange Systems Technical s@xxxxxxxxxxxx Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc 05/15/2006 10:05 AM Subject Re: HMC or LAN Console Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> Are twinax tubes an option?
