Hi

I have a document about setting up an AS400 to use email via an MS Exchange
relay at http://www.astradyne-uk.com/docs/14-02001.pdf which may help.

All the best

Jonathan

Subject: Sending an Email From AS400

I have an automated CL process that I would like to setup to email one of
our exchange relays. We do not currently send email from our AS400.

Essentially, I want to be able to send a message to SomeGroup@xxxxxxxxxxxx
using a relay identified in our DNS as SMTP.SomeDomainName.com

Is this the right document to use to get that setup?

I tried to follow it but I don't think all the params of ADDDIRE are the
same in V5R2 as they were in V4R1...which makes me question the doc.

Thanks.
RH
