I think Brad Stone's MAILTOOL utility is the industry standard now.... OK, maybe not, but it ought to be. It's cheap (i.e. inexpensive) as dirt and totally plug and play. Does attachments and what-not. You can also buy an additional bit (again, real cheap) that will make it use sockets so you can avoid setting up your AS400 SMTP stuff. (we already had ours set up, though). Your company would spend 10 times as much to pay you to write a program using the QtmmSendMail API or some other method, and it probably won't work as well or do as much.
