This is my first attempt to use an internet mailing list, so please be kind if it goes in unknown directions. 

Raul,
I have experienced a similar IPL problem over a year ago. I do not recall the specific error message. We IPL every Sunday night. This particular monday the IPL stopped with an error message. I called IBM hardware, and they determined I could do nothing, only a CE could fix it.
I was lucky our CE showed up in about 30 minutes. He said it was a timing issue error in the IPL process. I believe he said it was a known issue, but I could be mistaken. I really did not pay attention to what he did, but it did not take long. The IPL then finished and we were back in business. But it does prevent me from saying we have never had any unplanned downtime on the system.
