Track-It is a Windows based trouble ticket system used by IT shops to keep "track" of help desk issues and allow mgmt to see how many issues are raised and how many get solved, etc. (performance). There are others like Remedy or my favorite, PerlDesk.

It's hard to imagine this talking to an iSeries.

These systems typically cost $100-$300 depending on how many staff members you might have.

Is it worth trying to keep the data on the iSeries?

iSeries enterprise system here. It's a hard battle.
