Track-It Interface

My boss has a product called Track-It which seems to be a problem
tracking solution. It uses SQL-Server as its repository.

I've been in his ear about consolidating as much as possible on DB2 on
our iSeries and now that he's sniffed the bait I've been asked to find
out how to point this product to DB2. 
When the product starts up it seems to be aware of every SQL Server on
our network, but can't see the iSeries. We've asked to supplier, and
they reply that they've never connected it to an iSeries "but they'll
get their technical people to look at it". 

We have used SQL over our network to allow our web developer to invoke
some SQL procedures I wrote, so I know that connect process works.

Has anyone used this product? With an iSeries?   

This is just another chapter in the 'turf wars' between SQL Server & the
iSeries enterprise system here. It's a hard battle.
