RE: The F-spec when adding records to a keyed file.

You defined it as Input Primary with Add and Externally defined.
Without the Key value when the cycle reads this file it will be read in
RRN sequence.

This is not clear to me.  An RPGLE program adds records to an externally

described, keyed, file.

Does the F-spec need the k?
