IBM won't make you run V5R3M5 unless you wish to run external storage with the 
new "boot from SAN" option. Most shipments are with V5R4M0 as that is the 
current OS level... OK V5R4 was just released as well But the Power5+ can use 
V5R3 as well as V5R4 the M5 was an interum release to just support the 2847 
feature for SAN boot.
