We have an imaging/document management product that is in an iSeries version or
in a Windows version (SQL Server). It is in use by medical facilities now, so
it must work for them vis-a-vis HIPAA. Most of these things are generalist
packages, and ours is the same. We do have a couple vertical versions for CPAs
and legal, possibility exists of tailoring for other disciplines. Easily
configured for the kinds of documents you would use. Scanning is done with a
client/server app, and the main interface is a browser, although there are
several ways to link into things with APIs.

Give us a shout at 888.RJS.SOFT or check out the website at www.rjssoftware.com
