I don't think I've ever tried to restore a synlink, how does it work?

At backup:

Real file: /home/bob/ManU
Symlink: /home/mike/Arsenal -> /home/bob/ManU

Now, let's say I delete the symlink _and_ the real file. And then I
attempt to restore just the symlink, what happens?
