My point exactly. It's not a native OS/400 solution. In my largest clients the IT function are split into iSeries, desktop, and network, etc.. 3 iSeries datacenters around the world, the other groups in different cities in the US. There is little if no cooperative work between them. SSO/EIM requires a Kerberos server, and while it's true that most shops probably end up using Windows Active Directory, it is certain not required.
