Two methods.  

Method 1: Read the manual, write code, curse a lot, read again, write more,
curse more, ... Repeat for at least three days.

Method 2: Download Giovanni's free MMAIL utility from www.easy400.net - you
can find an article that Susan and I wrote on using it at the
www.eServerComputing.com web site.  Just search for "You've got mail" -
Least ways that should work - but I just tried it and the web site is
refusing to co-operate.  E-mail me OFF LIST and I'll send you a copy if you
can't locate it.

In all seriousness it is not worth wasting time on understanding
QTmmSendMail when others have already paid the price.
