Chris & Rob,

Thanks for the response.   So, in order to use the iSeries email
function, I need to configure SNADS and SMTP or just SMTP?

What's the difference between using SNDDST and QTmmSendMail?    SNDDST
is, of course, an iSeries command, how does one invoke QTmmSendMail?  
For the latter, where's the documentation?   I believe in RTFM.
