I'm looking back through my notes and they're very vague, but i'll list anything I think might help: On one of our 2 boxes we had to load some MH* PTFs and we needed to be at a certain level of 'firmware' - at the time we were setting this up, that was Level 75 The marker PTF I have listed was MH00150, and I think it pulled the other necessary PTFs. The power up message stating the cable is attached occurs only on the first IPL after attachment This last one spurs a more specific memory: The initial tech we talked to said that the disconnect/reconnect messages wouldn't register according to his documentation. We found that not to be true, and can get those disconnect/reconnect messages each time we've tested it. He may be referring to that same document, but in our experience, that statement is WRONG! My impression of the whole UPS connection setup on the 520s is that it was very confusing, the PTFs weren't ready for a long time when the 520s came out and we were waiting for a period before we could set this up initially. Support at that time seemed to be more than a little confused about all the various pieces to make it work also... hopefully that's improved by now! OK, try it. <g> Also, the IPL was a *SYS, not a *FULL. Tonight I'll try a *FULL. In addition to the initial paragraph I quoted, this document also states that FSP reset only occurs with a complete power down and unplug for at least 2 minutes, which you alluded to Chad, and I did with the CE at one time. -- Jeff Crosby Dilgard Frozen Foods, Inc.
