I can't believe AnyNet support is gone in v5r4. I haven't read the details on EE but I'll need to be backward compatible to as far back as v5r1 systems running AnyNet. Not all of our systems world wide will go to v5r4 and EE on the same weekend. -- Doug Hart -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, February 10, 2006 2:23 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Bisync support - V5R3 and beyond The old rumor was that all SNA was dying with V5R4 - including AnyNet. Well, AnyNet did die. You are supposed to configure Enterprise Extenders instead. http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/iseries/planning/upgrade/futur esftwr.html Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com
