Pat,

Did you try printing something else on the printer with a different forms type, such as a printkey with *STD?

Does it give you a change forms message?

Just for fun... I stopped the print writer with the forms on
hold. I started the print writer with the default of *all
and then released the form called "CHECKS" and they
printed their little hearts out.(no forms mount message)

I been doing this for a long time and I have never seen this
with any printer. If there is a special form in the outq, the
system issues a "MOUNT XXXXX in the printer", followed by a
"align forms" message and so on.....

I know I'm missing somthing but I don't know what...

I hate printers! That being said, the print writer isn't the problem; however, someone's response to a message /may/ be.
