About a month or so back our IBM CE accidentally kicked out the plug on our 520 (v5r3). After plugging it in an, of course, re-IPLing, everything ran fine and normal. I didn't do a RCLSTG or anything except IPL it. Until everything was up, it ran kinda slow, but that only lasted a few minutes.

BTW, he's been back twice since then and been very, very, very careful when plugging and unplugging his laptop.

What model and OS are you running?

Has anyone encountered poor system performance after an iSeries has come
down abnormally? We lost power this weekend and the UPS didn't hold up.
After IPL'ing and running a RCLSTG I am still experiencing significantly
long run times on my batch jobs. I have not gotten any report of errors
from the system that it has an issue.
