No, his question was quite clear: which is faster? Using the multiply by one or the add zero technique? Up to that point in the thread, nobody had thought to simply do an EVAL(H) with no operation.
Huh? EVAL is the operation. Why would you add something to a number of half adjust it? That doesn't make any sense to me.
If you're trying to help, just provide an answer rather than pose a question that could be seen as condescending or belittling.
I didn't understand the question, give me a break. Why would you add zero to a number in order to half-adjust it?
If he was adding 0.5, then I could see the logic. But zero? It doesn't make any sense.
