Here's one easy way:  You download the installer via a browser that can 
connect to your HMC.

0)  Make sure your HMC will allow an "http" connection.

1)  Bring up browser window

2)  Surf on over to http://(your HMC address here)/chooseClient.html
            (Note:  this IS case-sensitive)

3)  You will be challenged for a user name and password.  Sign on.

4)  You will have a choice of Installshield or Java Web Start.  On a 
Windows PC, use Installshield.

5)  Wait - it's about 100 MB download.

6)  Run the downloaded .exe file to install WebSM on your PC.

7)  Use it.  It gives you almost all the same functionality as the native 
HMC GUI.
