RE: DDS coding

If the business partner is expecting a numeric value, then I don't think you
want to place a decimal in the file.  A simple numeric field should suffice.

If you do need the decimal point and you're populating this file with an
RPGIV program, the %EDITC field should fulfull your requirements.  The field
would need to be defined as alphanumeric, but the vendor would see the
numbers with a decimal point.
