RE: SNDEMAIL not working

If I remember correctly I saw the same thing you are seeing, but I can't
say for certain it was in QTMP. I do remember seeing all of the emails
that appeared to be sent with out error sitting together in one place
though. If the emails are of no significance I don't see what harm
clearing them out would be. I don't think that will solve the problem
though. In my very simple way of looking at things the emails are there
because they were not sent for whatever reason. If you clear them out
what's to prevent the next email from being retained there? 
I do know that running CHGATR OBJ('/tmp') ATR(*RSTDRNMUNL) VALUE(*NO)
solved my problems.

I just noticed something in regards to the 'Restrict rename and unlink'
references.  
I have been under the impression that the emails ran through QTCPTMM so
I have been searching this directory.  
When the mention of /QTMP came in I went and looked in there and low and
behold I have loads of email messages.  

I wonder if it is as simple as clearing them all out.   

Does this make sense?

Well, Honestly, I'm not sure since I don't recall when it quit working.

The development and production machines are both at V5R3.  However the
Production machine is an 810 and development is a I5 I checked this
attribute on both machines through Iseries Navigator. Neither has this
attribute set.  

When I look at the joblogs in the MSF jobs there are no errors, but no
indication that anything is happening either.
