Scott, ...and one other benefit of using data queues is that you can have multiple data-queue reading jobs, all waiting on the same data queue. If lots of data queue entries arrive (because the trigger has fired multiple times) the various jobs can split up the load between them. Of course, there may be issues with relative timing/ordering etc., but that's the joy of application design :-) Rory
