There is an option to print text at the bottom of all reports/forms for a specific printer file. I had that problem once because someone had set the text in QSYSPRT. Never caused us to lose alignment though.

Anyway, if it's always the same printer file going to the printer, you might run the CHGPRTF command to see what is the PRTTXT option is anything other than ' '.

Our remote warehouse just reported that one of our printers started
printing: "PBACKUP01" after every report. It is an Epson DFX8500. This
is throwing off the next print job by 1 line so it is throwing the
vertical alignment off. When text is printed to the printer directly
(not from the AS/400), and everything is working fine. So at this point,
it appears that the only time the problem appears is when something is
printed from the AS/400. The printer has not been changed recently. The
printer has been there for a couple years. They said this problem just
started happening about 3 weeks ago. It is attached through a jet
direct.
If you guys know of anything on this please let me know. Thanks for
your help.
