Our remote warehouse just reported that one of our printers started
printing: "PBACKUP01" after every report. It is an Epson DFX8500. This
is throwing off the next print job by 1 line so it is throwing the
vertical alignment off. When text is printed to the printer directly
(not from the AS/400), and everything is working fine. So at this point,
it appears that the only time the problem appears is when something is
printed from the AS/400. The printer has not been changed recently. The
printer has been there for a couple years. They said this problem just
started happening about 3 weeks ago. It is attached through a jet
direct.
If you guys know of anything on this please let me know. Thanks for
your help.
