Your concerns are valid. However we keep our HMC in the machine room which requires a pass card access. And, we actually use Post-It notes for the password. And we leave it signed on. We can't see people going in there and using the HMC to move memory and processor around. Most of the staff that has pass cards to get in to there have a healthy respect or fear of the device. Anyone who wants to be malicious can probably do more damage by yanking cables out of service once they've gained access to that room. Now, when we move the one HMC offsite we may leave it signed off and we may not leave the post it notes laying around. Rob Berendt
