About 2 weeks ago I installed a new 520 for a client. It was one of those where Manufacturing had left it set for HMC=0 even though it was a Twinax Console. I called support and they walked me through resetting thing via ASMI and finally had me pull the FSP NVRAM Battery to flush things there. Anyway the Attention Light was on from the first power up. So I went in via SST to turn it off. The F6 option was there, I took it and then the F10 to Confirm. The screen comes back with the F6 still there and the light still on. So after a couple more retries to check my sanity and keystrokes no change. Called support and they tell me there was a recent PMR regarding not getting the F6 to Acknowledge the errors.. Well I guess the latest firmware fixed it good... Still waiting on a fix from IBM... The Attention Light worked just fine for 15+ years _____________________ Kirk Goins CCNA Systems Engineer, Manage Inc. Here's the entire PMR I had opened with IBM on this issue. Please note that this demonstrates that I can be a sarcastic SOB <g>
