I set up the DDM over TCP/IP as following:

Target System:

STRTCPSVR SERVER(*DDM) (if not already started)
CHGDDMTCPA AUTOSTART(*YES) PWDRQD(*YES)

Source System:
CHGSYSVAL SYSVAL(QRETSVRSEC) VALUE('1')
ADDSVRAUTE USRPRF(LOCAL1) SERVER('QDDMSERVER') USRID(REMOTE1)
PASSWORD(remote-user-pwd)

CRTDDMF FILE(QGPL/TESTDDM1) RMTFILE(QGPL/QDDSSRC)
RMTLOCNAME('aa.aa.aa.aa' *IP)

I can use DSPPFM, CPYF command with the TESTDDM, but if I create another DDM
for another system and use same server Authentication Entries.

CRTDDMF FILE(QGPL/TESTDDM2) RMTFILE(QGPL/QDDSSRC)
RMTLOCNAME('bb.bb.bb.bb' *IP)

But the second target system user REMOTE1 with different password and source system only one entry for user LOCAL1. So the DSPPFM will fail for second target system. The server Authentication Entry SERVER name "QDDMSERVER" is common name for DDM function. Does it could use corss multiple systems for same local user userid ?

Any idea ?

Any response appreciated.

Best regards,

Vengoal
