ObjectConnect (5722-SS1, option 22) can make this an easy process over a LAN connection, but that optional LPP must be installed and there is some configuration work that must be done on both iSeries servers. (Don't confuse this with OptiConnect.) At V5R2, option 22 is on the B29xx_04 CD; at V5R3 it is on the D29xx_02 CD. There is a knowledge base document about setting up the LAN connection. This software uses APPN over the LAN. http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/1ac66549a21402188625680b0002037e/5a6bbbe26534c78086256c2a005637ae?OpenDocument In your case, use the SAVRSTLIB command once you have everything set up. You don't have to use the IFS naming convention to use ObjectConnect. All the available commands are shown on the GO CMDSAVRST. ---------------------- Scott Scott A.
