I worked for a company a number of years ago that relocated and had a requirement to change their network IP addresses. The AS/400 was located in the UK and was being accessed by multiple international sites. To update the IP address used by client access we had a "new" version of the Windows "hosts" file with the new IP address in that was automatically copied over by the user's logon scripts when they signed on. This was only possible because the original template for the logon script had some code in that checked for a global "install" routine to be run at logon time. I don't recall any problems happening when we did this, we were however primarily using CA for Windows 3.1 rather than CA express at the time. All the best Jonathan
