Subject: Outbound fax from 400

What recommendations do people have for a product to allow outbound
faxes to be generated from the 400?

Inbound fax is not needed. Outbound can be simple text only; graphics
and overlays are not required.

Volume is estimated at up to 40 pages per day.

I don't care if it is a spool file redirect, APIs from RPG, or emails
which get converted by a gateway to a fax destination. Whatever is the
most cost effective for this type of volume.

If an email gateway is not used, what hardware is recommended? Can the
ECS modem in a 270 be used for outbound faxes?

Vendor responses are welcomed via private email

Doug
