Charles, It is possible, but I have tried it in the same drive that burnt it as well as a plain CD reader on the same PC and I get the same results. I have burnt 3 CDs so far, and get the same results with them all. And don't forget, the iSeries can read them. I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with naming, perhaps the volser that was used to init the CD image, or the description text - i.e. maybe something I did in that respect made it incompatible with Windows. There are also so many options in Nero that it would be easy to have something wrong. Generally I use their Wizard to make sure I don't produce a coaster. In this case, I've tried the wizard and also the manual route, to make sure I had the settings they mentioned in http://www-912.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/document/27321011. One thing I noticed: even on the iSeries, where I can read the CD, in WRKOPTVOL I have to use option 11 Work with Object Links instead of option 8 Work with Directories. Opt 8 yields msg OPT1886 "Cause . . . . . : Command WRKOPTDIR is not allowed for optical volume 050920183244 because the media format on the volume is *UDF. This command cannot be issued to a volume with this media format." If you come up with any more ideas, let me know. I appreciate your help. Try putting it back into the burner and Using windows explorer on the PC with the burner. Actually, as I think of this...there may be something else going on...but my thoughts aren't clear on what it may be...try the above ... meanwhile I'll think about this some more. Charles Wilt --
