Exactly....and the funny thing is while it may have been at a discount but
every one of us who bought the Enterprise edition paid money for
TSM..........huh....iSeries customers being forced to pay money to a
product not supported on their operating system......another reason why I
don't like Linux partitions. Let me rephrase...I like them but I'm tired
of vendors taking the approach that their product runs on the iSeries when
it doesn't run in OS/400..........that's the real value.....
Zollar is now in charge of Tivoli.....wonder if he cares........

If IBM is serious about porting applications to the i5 why then, don't
they get the newest versions of TSM to run underneath i5/OS?

If they cannot convince IBM, who can they convince?
And I am not interested in that crippled up version of TSM (that even
that, IBM stopped upgrading) that runs underneath PASE. Because PASE has
too many limitations in tape speed, etc that the IBM/Tivoli people could
not work around.
