Rob, Great Article. We are in the midst of looking to upgrade our aging 720-35/240CPW to a 520-1000CPW machine. Our problem is that our interactive CPW is often overrun by 100% during production hours (sometimes we have over 70 interactive users thrashing the system). We had IBM run their performance analysis tools on our system, and they recommend we move to an enterprise version of the 520. Now I have to try and get that past the executives without too many heart attacks. :) Brian. -----Original Message----- From: rob@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:rob@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 07, 2005 10:21 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: 520 model debate I did some time trials on upgrading an 820-24AA to a 520-7453. http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200408/msg00644.html Rob Berendt
