Using WRKDIRE fill in the SMTP user ID and SMTP domain parameters
(F19=Change name for SMTP)

The "sent from" address will then be SMTP user ID @ SMTP domain.

subject: SNDDST send internet mail problem

Hi ,
I use the SNDDST to send internet email, the mail sent complete,
because AS/400 SMTP server append the host to domain front as AS/400
user email address, if my host is as400host, and my domain as
ddsc.com.tw, the "sent from" mail address is
as400user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, If some target mail server do domail
name checking, the mail could not mail to that target, because the
domain as400host.ddsc.com.tw doesn't exist(the domain should be
ddsc.com.tw).

Does any method to set AS/400 don't append the hostname to domain when
send mail using SNDDST ?

Best regards,

Vengoal
