Go with RJS. Their support is first rate. Their products all interface to
their document imaging and retrieval system, so you can produce stuff in
the iSeries and have it retrievable thru a browser.

Subject: How to save AFPDS spool files to a document archive system?

My company has a client who implemented a document archiving system
outside their iSeries server and our applications. They submit our
standard
reports (SCS spool files) through by copying them to PFs using CPYSPLF.

Over the last year, they have switched to our laser forms for PO, W-2,
1099s,
etc. and want to be able to archive those spool files also. CPYSPLF
doesn't support AFPDS spool files so they are asking what other method
would
allow them to archive these spool files.

They recently mentioned software from RJS, but our company doesn't have
any experience with these products so I don't know if they would help the
client
or not. Looking for any recommendations or list members with similar
requirements and how you handled these spool files.

Thanks.
