I think I got it. It doesn't matter what logging level you use, intermediately. So you can't CHGJOB LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES) /* Log like a son of a gun */ ... ... /* Let's not log this small section */ CHGJOB LOG(1 50 *NOLIST) LOGCLPGM(*NO) ... /* Let's go back to logging everything */ CHGJOB LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES) Because it only matters as to what is at the very end as to what appears in your joblog.
