Not sure about the APIs but you can prevent CD (change directory) within the exit program. My approach has been to use the exit program to place the user in a directory with a copy of the file that they will be FTPing and prevent them from CDing out of the directory (or anything else). Included in this is preventing PUTs to a directory where the iSeries is "providing" a file (I.E. incoming files in one directory, outgoing files in another). Steve
