Paul, check your SMTP config, and make sure you have the same firewall
settings and server address.  Also, sometimes I have to restart SMTP with
the clear option, to remove a corrupted entry.

Paul,

  Do you have something for the userID and Address in CHGDSTA?  There 
needs to be a userid and Address in there. Also in WIRKDIRE that user 
must have:

 Mail service level  . . :   System message store 
 
 Preferred address . . . :   NETUSRID    *IBM 
   Address type  . . . . :   ATCONTXT 

 If that's not set there will be nothing moving from SNDDST to SMTP.

 Also make sure that the server has DNS available.  You can't do 
NSLOOKUP on a V4R5 box but you can do PING at least to make sure that 
DNS lookups are working.  Ping some outside addresses like 
www.frankenseries.com to make sure internet addresses are resolvable.
