Default route set correctly?
Have you defined an external DNS server, so the SMTP can get the correct IP for sending mail?

Port 25 is listening, and QSNADS is started. Nothing is getting out. I'll
wait until Monday and call IBM. Thanks for trying.

Yes, yes, and no.

Well, is the smtp port (or 25 port) active in the netstat option 3
menu ?

It would mean that SMTP is really active on the system.

QSNADS subsystem have also to be started.

I've got 4.5 and 5.2 boxes sitting here in a client site. We
have come up with a need to send messages from the 4.5 box.
PTF's are up to date, and the 4.5 box is configured identically
to the 5.2 box for hosts, SMTPA, DSTA, directory entries. I can
use SNDDST from the 5.2 box but not from the 4.5 box. Any ideas?

I remember a tip I had to perform to fix a similar SNDDST problem :

remove and add again the directory entry associated to the CHGDSTA
command.

You could try this.

Did you restart SMTP after setting it ?

Is MSF started ?

Do you see something in the QZMF journal coming from the QSMTP*
jobs ?
