Years ago we had a customer that we gave simple 5250 access to our data 
entry screen.  First time the trucks arrived because they added an extra 
decimal place they ripped out the terminal.  Go figure.

Now that's customer service.  Get them to do the grunt work and pay too. I
sure hope you're editing every input.  I've seen my wife using IE.  Scary,
very scary.

That depend on how you look at you system.  I once use that as a reason as
why green is more efficient.  Until one time somebody ask me why are you
still creating data entry program.  You should be trying to find a way to
push this out for customer to do that for you :).
