Hi Rob,

Frankly, is the rexec service limited to only iSeries communications attempts? Could not someone write a PC program to access that same service?


Bytes are bytes. If an iSeries can send them, so can a PC.

In fact, Windows has an rexec client built-in... At least in XP, I can open up a command prompt and type the following to open Notepad: rexec -l klemscot notepad.exe
