RE: Windows update on IXS card

I've used WUpdate on NT4 on an IPCS all the way through 2003 Server on
the current IxS cards.  Never had any problems.  AFAIK the IBM PTFs
reflect issues with iSeries integration and not the Windows codebase per
se.  After all, the whole idea is that your Windows install is as
off-the-shelf as possible.

Am I right that we should _not_ do Windows update(s) on IXS cards from
within Windows as we would do on 'normal' Windows PCs?  And the way to
get Windows updates to IXS cards is through IBM issued PTFs for 5722WSV?
