Scott, That is the issue. I believe I will follow the recommendation to change the programs using QDLS to use the root file system thus avoiding the design issues associated with QDLS, QSYS.LIB and QOPT now and in the future. There's a particular change that Microsoft made to Windows that breaks backward compatibility with some filesystems, including the /QDLS filesystem of OS/400. IBM issued a PTF to work around the problem.
