Karen, et al,

Where do you run your PGP software..., native on the iSeries under
OS/400 or in an LPAR running AIX or Linux or do you have to resort to
using a Windoz server and run your input/output through the latter on
its way in/out of the iSeries? The reason why I say that is because
every version of PGP or GNU I've found doesn't run on the iSeries, which
is not surprising. It needs to run under AIX, or some flavor of Unix
or Linux or Windoz.

I need to do the same thing and considered using the Qshell of OS/400
to run some version of PGP or GNU but don't know if it will work. If I
have to, I'll configure an LPAR to use AIX or Linux to run my PGP or
GNU.

Thanks,

Dave
