David, I just restored the DAVEMID sample I did to a library called DAVEMID2. None of the journals or journal receivers restored. However, the constraints were all fine. I used primary key constraints and foreign key constraints. I do not use cascade. Cascade's cool, but I would think many people would think it to be so efficient as to be scary. I tried deleting a record from the parent that I knew to be used in the child and it wouldn't let me. It let me create a new parent. I know that journalling is required for certain constraint features, like cascading deletes and changes. Updates to the files in library DAVEMID2 are still being journalled to the receivers in DAVEMID.
