Here is what you want to do IF you really want to do that :-)

Start/Run and type sysdm.cpl and then click on the Automatic Update tab.

As noted in my PCTech reply on this, the only issue we have had with SP2 is
with the Firewall and VPN software. You just need to add the appropriate
stuff to the Exception list.
