response.    

Well, you've just about hit the nail on the head but I'm not only
concerned about DB2 QM but any other application that has a convenient
list of available "printers".   We have some package applications here
that print to output queues and those queues are attached to certain
writers and those writers to certain printers.  But, in the case of DB2
QM, it seems it has a list of print files, not output queues. So, it
seems I have to create the print files with the orientation, etc., I
want, "attach" them to a specific output queue and writer and what I
need may be possible.   Yes?
