This is correct. The 150 does not have the needed bits to support the 
2838 as it's slots are 'low speed'.  The 170 has the same restrictions 
for most of it's slots.  You can get the card to be recognized and it 
looks like it might work, until you try to vary it on and then it rolls 
smoke.  In many cases it also takes down the IOP and all other cards on 
it.  Trust me on this one, itnoworkie.
