AFAIK, the 2838 (100Mb ethernet) only works in the 150 when it's connected to one of the various integrated PC server cards. The 2723 (10Mb) is the only ethernet card directly supported on main motherboard in the 150.

The seller should have pointed out this caveat.

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a 2838 PCI adapter card for an AS400 model 150. However, after creating a new line and configuring TCP to use it all I get is RCYPND (WRKCFGSTS *LIN). I have tried using a different cable and a different slot (AS/400), but still get the same problem.
I'm wondering whether the card is dud or if I have configured it incorrectly. The only 2 parms that I have changed are the line speed (100M) and the duplex (*FULL) everyother parm is left as it's default.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how I should configure it ?
Many thanks
Dave Taylor
