When we implemented Aldon, we had 3 or 4 days of onsite training. We learned a lot of tips and streamlining info that reduced the amount of book research we had to perform. We put three sections of code (vendor software modifications, legacy inhouse code, and CGIDEV2 intranet reports) into Aldon during the implementation. We implemented our most complex applications first; it's easier to leave out steps than try to find what to add, imo. I think the increased hands-on training and getting up to speed with product quickly offset the consulting costs. Thanks. Donald R. Fisher, III Project Manager Roomstore Furniture Company (804) 784-7600 extension 2124 DFisher@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <clip> Pick SoftLanding over Aldon. Setup is not too bad especially if you remember the KISS principle and try out Vanilla variety before doing anything more complicated. <clip> -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
